This bird is so rare (or simply so overlooked) that we haven’t even written a proper description for it yet.
It might also be that we just haven’t gotten around to it because we were tempted outside again by birdsong, chirping and early morning melodies. Or perhaps we were busy training for the National Bird Whistling Championship! All very good excuses, but the text simply isn’t there yet. Enough about us.
Maybe you graduated cum laude in ornithology, grew up in a bird hide, or your heart simply beats faster for wings, feathers and wet grass at sunrise.
Help us fill this empty field with something that fits Luistervink: meaningful, cheerful and sharp bird info that’s actually useful. With facts that are correct. With stories that stick. With love for everything that flies, forages and sings.

OH NOOOOO, what does the Hume's Warbler sound like?! We don't have any good recordings of this cheerful whistler in our database yet. Do you know? Have you ever heard it? Or do you have a good recording of this species? Let us know and email: [email protected]
We keep refining this text. Missing something or is something not right? Mail [email protected] and help out. Together we'll smooth the feathers again.
